The width of the printed conductors

- Sep 23, 2015 -

Minimum width of the printed wire, mainly by the conductor and the insulating substrate adhesion strength and their current value. Printed conductors can be as wide as possible, especially the power and ground wires, allowed under the conditions of the plate surface as wide as possible, even if the area under stressful conditions is usually not less than 1mm. Especially the ground, even if the local widening is not allowed, should also be widened where allowed to reduce the resistance of the entire Earth System. The wires longer than 80mm, even if the current is unlikely, should also be widened to reduce the effects of pressure drop of wire on the circuit.
